What we do:

We direct and produce animated title sequences, commercials, tv series and films. Our different backgrounds within the area of film and design makes us able to create in many different styles using various techniques, but always with that little extra hand made touch which has become Röda roboten’s trademark.

Company history:

Röda roboten animation was founded in 2000 by Staffan Erlandsson, while he was working with children’s tv at the Swedish Television, SVT. He created the characters “Jack and Pedro”, and together with his wife Anna Erlandsson, who was working as a set designer at the time, created the short film “Jack’s do-nothing day” in 2002. Anna soon joined as a partner in the company, and they have both been working full time with Röda roboten since then.

Over the years Röda roboten animation has established itself with the production and direction of several short films and title sequences mainly for children’s television. Since 2005 they have been working closely with freelancing animator and designer Annika Bergström and her company Inniki. In 2012 Annika joined Röda roboten animation as a partner, significantly expanding the skills and capabilities of the company.
